The mission of the DPAO Foundation is to raise and steward resources that support the Disabled Persons Action Organization (DPAO) in providing services and empowering individuals with developmental disabilites, as well as their families, to live full, meaningful and independent lives throughout Jefferson and Lewis counties.

Attend Events
One of the best ways to support the DPAO Foundation is to attend one of our community fundraising events. These events are a great way to make a difference while having fun!

Company Matching Gift
Your contribution could be doubled if your company matched philantrhopic gifts. If they do, please obtain your company’s matching gift form and return it to us.
Memorial Gift
A gift to the DPAO Foundation may be made in memory or in honor of a loved one.
Endowment Fund
One of the most meaningful ways to support the DPAO Foundation is through our Endowment Fund, held at the Northern New York Community Foundation. Gifts to the endowment are invested, with earnings provided permanent, long-term support for our mission.
